Exciting features make the Diesel Charger a great introduction to the fun of model trains. The action begins with a pair of GP38-2 diesels (one powered and one unpowered) finished in Conrail blue and white. The set comes with three freight cars and a caboose. For more fun, there's a fully assembled, working crossing gate that lowers when the train passes and raises automatically when it's gone. You also get a set of railroad signs and telephone poles. The set also comes with a UL-listed power pack, an oval of track with nickel silver rail for better electrical performance and a rerailer to simplify putting the cars and locos on the tracks.
