The Explorer Train set is a great way to get started in the model railroading hobby. The modern train is hauled by an EMD F9 diesel locomotive with operating headlight and Lustra Chrome finish and an unpowered F9A unit. Also included is a single-dome tank car, reefer car, covered hopper, plug door box car, flat car with containers, off-center cupola caboose, a 34 x 24" oval of E-Z Track including a plug-in rerailer, 12 telephone poles, 24 railroad and street sign, a UL-listed power pack and illustrated instruction manual.
